Production of Steel Wheels (Switzerland)

Since the acquisition of the steel wheel activities from the Swiss company Ambrosetti & Söhne in 1995, ALCAR produces its own steel wheels for the car and Offroad aftermarket in Manno (Lugano).

Ambrosetti has an all-in-all production capacity of more than 2 million wheels per year.
Production of Alloy Wheels (Germany)

The Sauerland region of Germany (North Rhine-Westphalia) has a long tradition in the manufacture of steel and alloy products. In 2004, the ALCAR Group invested more than 13 million Euro in the modernisation of the production site Neuenrade. Together with the plant in Werdohl, also located in North Rhine-Westphalia, about 1.2 million alloy wheels are produced under the brand names AEZ, DOTZ, DEZENT and ENZO.

The modernisation of this site is a testament to ALCAR's confidence in Germany. With uncertainty about products' origin widespread these days, ALCAR has decided to emphasise German quality craftsmanship and the experience and flexibility of the people in this region.

More than 100 years ago, the company started with the industrial metal processing. Steel wheels and steel furniture were brought to perfection during the last decades.
